Gettin is not an agency. It's a solo software studio — I build, ship, and maintain every product myself.
I'm Arthur, software engineer based in France. I started Gettin to build and ship my own products — native macOS apps and web platforms.
I do everything: design, code, infrastructure, marketing, support. My first product is MacMD Viewer, a native markdown viewer for macOS built with Swift and SwiftUI. I'm also working on HypeOrTrash, a product voting platform.
My stack: Swift 6 and SwiftUI for native apps, Next.js and TypeScript for web, self-hosted on a VPS with Docker and Caddy. I prefer building with tools I fully control over depending on platforms that can change their rules overnight.
I'd rather launch with 80% and iterate based on real feedback than spend months polishing something nobody asked for.
If I'm building for macOS, I use Swift and SwiftUI. Users can tell the difference, and so can I.
Each product solves one problem. No feature bloat, no "platform" ambitions. Just a tool that works.
Self-hosted infra, direct payments, no middlemen. I want to control the experience end to end.
The tools I use daily to build and ship.
Swift 6, SwiftUI, AppKit, WKWebView, Xcode, App Sandbox, notarization. Native macOS development following Apple's latest conventions.
Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js. Modern web stack with server-side rendering and SEO optimization.
Docker, GitHub Actions, VPS deployment, Stripe payments, Caddy reverse proxy. Lean infrastructure for independent products.
